Abstract

Welcome to another (and my first) issue as editor. Before I introduce myself I should also say that I was very generously assisted in making the transition to editor by former editor Shannon Wellington, who has so ably edited the journal for the last two years. Thank you Shannon for all your time and energy in editing the journal, and guiding me through the process of bringing this issue to print. [...] This issue now in your hands draws on some of the ideas, events, and projects that ARANZ members and others across the New Zealand archives and recordkeeping sector have been working on recently.

Editorial | A Letter from the Editor

In the 10 years that I have been editor of The Microscope journal, I can only count on one hand the number of times we have received a nasty letter from our readers, or anyone else, complaining about the content of our publication. Thanks to the expert authors, topnotch articles and our capable editorial staff, the str...

Having Something to Say

S IR : I have read the article, ‘You Can't Write Writing,’ with a great deal of interest and, I hope, with some profit. With most of it I am in hearty agreement; with little of what is said am I, as an English teacher, disposed to quarrel. I suspect, however, that Professor Johnson's success in teaching graduate...

A Mini-Symposium on New Publications

There was a lively response to our announcement in PPC 51 that we were confronted by two books that were too difficult for us to review and our invitation to readers to volunteer for this task. Thank you very much to everyone who stepped forward in response to the appeal. What resulted is printed below in the form of a...
