A Rapid and Sensitive LC–MS/MS Method for Quantification of NDSRI in Melatonin Drug Product via Controlled In Situ Formation

A liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry method was developed and validated for quantifying N‐Nitroso melatonin, and the scavenger eliminated false positives by suppressing in situ nitrosamine formation, ensuring data integrity.
