Neuroprotective Effects of Huperzine B and Huperzia carinata Extract Against MPP+‐Induced Oxidative Stress in SH‐SY5Y Cells

Findings indicate that HupB and H. carinata extract are associated with modulation of oxidative and proteostasis‐related responses in an MPP+‐induced undifferentiated SH‐SY5Y cellular injury model, supporting further investigation in more physiologically relevant systems.

Pre-symptomatic proteomic and metabolomic profiling identifies compensated ER-redox-metabolic adaptation and early nuclear vulnerability in neuronal ERO1L toxicity

Investigation of how neuronal ERO1L elevation reshapes cellular homeostasis before overt dysfunction in Drosophila melanogaster establishes a pre-symptomatic state in which proteostatic and metabolic adaptation coexists with early vulnerability of nuclear and RNA-homeostasis pathways, preceding overt oxidative stress a...

Fusion Partner and ER-Retention Signal Are Associated with Distinct Host Proteomic and Metabolic Responses During Interleukin-15 Production in Nicotiana benthamiana

The results demonstrate that fusion partner and SP/KD targeting strategy jointly shape the host response to recombinant IL-15 expression and should therefore be evaluated together during construct design for plant molecular farming.

Comparative proteomics and metabolomics reveals distinct host protein quality control and metabolic signatures during recombinant IL1-His and IL15-His expression in Nicotiana benthamiana

Findings underscore that the characteristics of the target protein and its interaction with the host's physiology could influence the yield of the recombinant protein production in plants.
