When Tolerating Diet Is Not Enough: Hidden Underfeeding After Distal Gastrectomy.

Insufficient early postoperative energy intake and elevated preoperative CRP were independently associated with weight loss after distal gastrectomy, and "hidden underfeeding" persisted-particularly in larger patients-warranting individualized nutritional supplementation strategies.
