National Trends in Ambient Air Pollutants and Cause-Specific Mortality in Türkiye, 2018–2024: An Ecological Time-Trend Study

Ambient air pollution remains an environmental health concern, yet national evidence in Türkiye integrating multiple pollutants, WHO guideline exceedance, mortality patterns, and monitoring network changes is limited. We analyzed seven annual observations (2018–2024) for PM10, SO2, CO, NO2, and O3. For each pollutant-y...

Ambient Gaseous Pollutants and Circulatory-System Morbidity in Four Industrial Settlements of East Kazakhstan: A Trend-Sensitive Ecological Analysis, 2014–2024

The industrial settlements of East Kazakhstan have long been exposed to ambient air-pollution pressure, yet the association between gaseous pollutants and cardiovascular morbidity in the region’s population remains insufficiently studied. This study aimed to assess the association between ambient air pollution and the...

Linking ambient air pollution to health risk burden: A comparative study across urban and semi-urban regions of Karnataka, India

Introduction: Ambient air pollution poses significant public health challenges across urban and semi-urban India. Karnataka, encompassing coastal, plateau, highland, and semi-arid environments, provides an ideal setting for evaluating regional air quality variability and associated health risks. This study assessed the...
