Abstract
This dataset contains the frozen comparative-alignment inputs and author-generated derived data used to support the evolutionary component of the study “Evolutionary-functional tests constrain links between TMD-proximal synonymous architecture and cotranslational membrane-protein handling.” The archive includes the exact scoring-panel alignment snapshot used in the final evolutionary analysis, comprising 21,126 human–target aligned protein pairs across 1,921 retained human genes. Comparative alignments were retrieved under the frozen Ensembl release 116 / REST API 15.12 workflow. Individual cached responses did not contain per-response release identifiers; the release assignment is supported by the retained retrieval provenance. Ensembl Helpdesk confirmed that redistribution in this reproducibility archive is acceptable (ticket #889724), with appropriate version information and attribution. The archive also contains provenance records, manifests, retained/excluded adjudication records, and author-generated derived tables. Alignment strings for 168 excluded candidates are not redistributed. CDS sequence content and third-party workbook-derived enrichment values are not included. The related software and reproducibility package is archived separately at DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.22705327.
This publication proposes a definition and a classification of agile software development approaches and analyses ten software development methods that can be characterized as being "agile" against the defined criterion.

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.

The results show that the embedded industry has been able to apply agile methods in its development processes and that the appreciation of the agile methods and their individual practices appears to increase once adopted and applied in practice.
