Today, structural transformations in the business world, intensifying competition, and changing work methods are forcing organizations to develop strategies not only to attract qualified human resources but also to retain them sustainably. This research aims to examine the direction and strength of the relationship between quality of work life and organizational commitment using a meta-analysis of studies conducted in Turkey. In this study, searches were conducted in the National Thesis Center (YÖK-Tez), ULAKBİM-TR DİZİN, and Google Scholar databases. The meta-analysis included data from 20 studies (articles, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations) published in the national literature between January 1, 2010, and October 31, 2025. The study included 7656 participants, according to its inclusion criteria. JAMOVI 2.4 software and the MAJOR plugin were used for research. A random effects model was used in this study. Tests for heterogeneity and publication bias were also conducted. The findings revealed a strong positive effect size (r = 0.733) between quality of work life and organizational commitment. The results strongly suggest that, in the Turkish context, the most effective strategic approach to increasing organizational commitment is to increase the organization's investment in the quality of work life. Accordingly, managers who want to strengthen corporate belonging need to prioritize human resources practices that improve the work environment, work-family balance, and employee satisfaction.
