Melampaui Kepatuhan Syariah: Kerangka Penciptaan Nilai Maqasid pada Produk dan Lembaga Keuangan Syariah
Abstract
This article synthesizes how Islamic financial products and institutions can move beyond formal Shariah compliance toward maqāṣid al-sharīʿah-based value creation. The study applies a Systematic Literature Review guided by PRISMA 2020 and thematic-conceptual synthesis. The corpus is drawn from a curated seed matrix containing 34 international sources published between 2007 and 2025, covering Islamic banking, sukuk and green sukuk, takaful, Islamic fintech, Islamic microfinance, waqf-based instruments, and Islamic social finance. Evidence was extracted by context, research object, method, concepts, findings, quality, and contribution to value creation. Six themes emerged. Maqāṣid serves as both a normative foundation and an evaluative lens; Shariah governance, CSR, and ethical reporting translate religious legitimacy into accountability; product innovation extends value toward the real sector, ESG, and the SDGs; digitalization creates opportunities for efficiency, transparency, and inclusion; Islamic social finance demonstrates the most direct connection with welfare and poverty alleviation; while human capital, ethical leadership, Shariah competence, and digital readiness remain underdeveloped institutional capabilities. The study’s novelty lies in a Maqāṣid-Based Value Creation Framework that integrates commercial and social Islamic finance through the relationships among institutional antecedents, implementation mechanisms, product domains, and substantive outcomes. The framework argues that compliance is a minimum requirement, whereas sustainable legitimacy depends on measurable ethical, social, economic, and environmental value.
