Abstract
Globalization is a current of change that has a great influence on various dimensions of life, ranging from politics, economy, social, to culture. This is able to bring positive opportunities for the progress of a nation, but also presents serious challenges that have the potential to be negative in eroding national identity. In this context, the existence of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution is very crucial as the main foundation in maintaining Indonesia's identity, sovereignty, and development direction. This research discusses the existence of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution in facing the challenges of globalization, both from the philosophical and practical sides. Using descriptive qualitative methods, the study focuses on the main values of Pancasila of divinity, humanity, unity, democracy, and social justice as the basis of ethics in political and social life. On the other hand, the 1945 Constitution is understood as a constitutional framework that affirms the sovereignty of the people, upholds the rule of law, and protects human rights, as well as being a shield from global influences that have the potential to erode the nation's identity. The results of the study show that Pancasila functions as an ideological as well as a moral guideline, while the 1945 Constitution provides legal legitimacy and an institutional basis. Both are complementary, normative and actual, and offer real solutions to strengthen the nation's resilience in the midst of globalization.
