Abstract
This endeavor contributes to the rising trend of research in positive psychology, pointing out the influence of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) in promoting emotional well-being among young adults. On combining mindfulness drills with a target on human potentials and virtues, the 8-week MBSR program exhibited crucial advancements in emotional well-being, comprising a 23% rise in WHO-5 magnitude and a 21% drop in perceived stress. These outcomes align with the extended targets of positive psychology, which pursues to encourage personal and social wellbeing via fact-dependent interventions. The work's outcomes also underscore the significance of culturally accepted arrangements and continued execution towards long-term influence, echoing the field's prominence on managing interventions to various populations and contexts. As positive psychology continues to develop, this work expresses the capacity of mindfulness-based interventions to be collaborated with several domains, comprising psychotherapy, counselling, and organizational development. Moreover, the work's aim on multi-modal evaluation and longitudinal design reflects the field's obligation towards evolving both the science and executes of positive psychology, consequently encouraging human prosperousness and wellbeing.
