Abstract

The article examines the current scientific and applied problem of increasing the efficiency of contract activities of enterprises through the introduction of specialized digital solutions. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the existing electronic document management and enterprise content management (ECM) systems on the Russian market are often expensive, difficult to implement, and have redundant functionality for small and medium-sized enterprises, while manual document management leads to data loss, missed deadlines, and a decrease in the quality of management decisions. The aim of the work is to substantiate and develop an architecture for a digital solution for automating contract activities using the example of a company engaged in the development of information security tools. The methodological basis of the study includes methods of system analysis, functional modeling (DFD), infological and physical database design using ERwin CASE-tools, as well as object-oriented programming in Borland Delphi 7 using the Firebird DBMS. The study built a functional model of contract activity business processes, developed logical and physical models of a relational database including ten interrelated entities, and created a client application that implements the full contract support cycle. A key feature of the developed solution is its focus on the specifics of the analytical department's activities, including the automation of labor cost calculation and the generation of all necessary reporting documents. The developed application can reduce document processing time, eliminate information duplication, and ensure control over the fulfillment of contractual obligations. The results of the study can be used to automate contract activities in small and medium-sized enterprises across various industries.
