From Green Knowledge to MSME Sustainability: Digital Enablement and Mutualistic Collaboration in Local Business Ecosystems
Abstract
This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to strengthen digital-based green knowledge through a mutualism approach in supporting the sustainability of MSMEs in South Meruya Village, Kembangan District, West Jakarta. The program is motivated by the limitations of digital literacy, the lack of optimal understanding of environmentally friendly business practices, and the need to strengthen collaboration between universities, village governments, and MSME actors. The activity method uses a participatory approach through identifying needs, disseminating knowledge, training, mentoring, implementation, and evaluation. Digital transformation is implemented through strengthening the use of social media, preparing educational content, managing customer information, and communicating sustainability values. The results of the activity show an increase in participants' understanding of the use of digital technology and the importance of integrating green knowledge in business development. The mutualism approach strengthens the involvement of universities, governments, and MSMEs through knowledge exchange, institutional support, and business assistance. The activity also produces educational materials, digital content design, documentation, and publication of activities. The program shows that the integration of green knowledge, digitalization, and multi-stakeholder collaboration can be the initial foundation in strengthening the adaptive capacity and sustainability of MSMEs.
