NEUROSCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, AND LEARNING: BENEFITS FOR STUDENTS IN EDUCATION
Abstract
The articulation between neuroscience, technology and learning constitutes a promising field to understand how students' cognitive processes can be enhanced in the contemporary school environment. The general objective of this study is to analyze the benefits that digital tools offer to students, from the perspective of neuroscientific advances applied to formal education. To this end, Bibliographic Research was adopted, with a survey and critical examination of recent academic productions that discuss the interface between these domains of knowledge. The investigative path allows us to perceive that the planned use of technology favors attention, memory and student engagement, in addition to expanding the possibilities for personalizing teaching and including students with disabilities. It is inferred that the conscious integration between neuroscience and digital resources can transform pedagogical practices, provided it is mediated by adequate teacher training and well-defined ethical criteria. The research signals, therefore, the relevance of educational policies that sustain this convergence between knowledge.
