Abstract

This paper investigates the cooperative task allocation problem for heterogeneous multi-UAV clusters under complex environmental constraints. Targeting practical constraints including multi-airport deployment, diversified heterogeneous UAV configurations and diverse operational mission requirements, this paper formulates the task allocation problem as an integer programming model to maximize overall operational combat effectiveness. To address premature convergence and local optimum trapping defects of standard particle swarm optimization (PSO), an improved multisubpopulation PSO with inter-subgroup information interaction is proposed. The proposed algorithm strengthens information sharing among particle subgroups without raising algorithm complexity or computational overhead. Simulation results demonstrate that the developed method can reasonably optimize UAV resource allocation, maximize overall strike effectiveness and achieve favorable computational performance.
