A true experimental method utilizing a pretest-posttest control group design was applied in this research. The sample comprised 16 students selected via a simple random sampling technique from a identified cohort displaying low achievement motivation, distributed equally into an experimental group (n=8) and a control group (n=8). Data collection employed an achievement motivation Likert scale featuring 35 validated items across favorable and unfavorable statements. The dataset was analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, homogeneity test, N-gain calculation, and paired sample t-test via JASP software. The results reveal that solution-focused brief group counseling effectively and significantly increased students' achievement motivation, as evidenced by experimental gain scores substantially outperforming the control group.
