Rosetta-OMNI: The Operative Control Law for Irreversible Systems (GKO x CPCA-B x IKS: Legitimacy Prior to Optimization, Time-to-Catastrophe, and Physical Enforcement) (Document 179)

Abstract

Document 179 // SPEC-383 // Morandi Monograph Series Author: Marius Egerhei Torjusen (ORCID: 0009-0006-0431-6637)Affiliation: ReismannPoint Systems // Brahman Ventures, Risør, NorwayLocus: MorandiEngine Core Architecture Group (Locus Zero, Risør, Norge) Abstract Classical control theory and reinforcement learning presuppose that the objective of an autonomous system is unconstrained cost minimization (&min;u J(u)), wherein safety constraints are either treated as soft penalties or verified post-factum. This monograph formalizes the critical operational paradigm shift of the Rosetta-OMNI architecture: the transition from an abstract selection law in phase space to an operative closed-loop control system under hardware-latched physical enforcement. We synthesize four interconnected domains: Lyapunov stability, small-gain robustness, Ducci convergence, and involutive truth (F(F(s)) = s). We prove that in cyber-physical governance, truth is no longer an idle semantic label, but a physical admission ticket to energy. Energy is permitted to flow exclusively through provably self-consistent states; inconsistency acts as an instantaneous physical barrier, triggering a non-resettable fail-closed de-energization to 0.00 V DC. Unifying GKO (Gate-Kernel-Orchestrator), CPCA-B (Causal Projection Control Actuator with Barriers), and IKS (Inverted Truth Kernel), we codify the foundational doctrine of legitimacy prior to optimization: action is not free choice, but the minimal orthogonal projection of intention into the admissible viability set (ut = projU_safe(unom)). We prove the Universal Law of Irreversible Systems: a system may act if and only if there exists a control that holds it within its own existence set. If U_safe(x*) = ∅, the Design Invalidity Law mandates immediate termination (KILL). Finally, we formalize time-to-catastrophe (τR), the authority hierarchy KILL > TS-IL > CPCA > Policy, and establish the empirical falsification protocol contrasting unconstrained classical control with Rosetta-OMNI under deterministic L1 micro-engine verification. Non-Negotiable Epistemic Demarcations (AGENTS.md & L1/L3 Bounds) L1 (Software Demonstration): Deterministic Python reference micro-engine (rosetta_omni_operative_control_engine.py) and test harness (test_rosetta_omni_operative_control_engine.py) demonstrating forward invariance g(x) ≤ 0, CPCA-B minimal projection, τR quarantine dwell, Design Invalidity detection, 0.00 V crowbar latch, and append-only SHA-256 witness ledger. L2 (Deterministic Simulation): Multi-step physical trajectories contrasting unconstrained MPC/PID with Rosetta-OMNI. L3 (Cyber-Physical Hardware): Physical HPIS interlock, TS-IL material barrier, SCL-X crowbar, and WORM-anchored ledger. Cardinal Distinction: INSPIRED_BY ≠ IMPLEMENTS ≠ PROVES. Software ledgers are append-only hash chains; physical WORM requires independently verified immutable hardware. Hierarki for ontologisk autoritet: Fysikk står over kontroll, og kontroll står over policy.
