Abstract

The article generalizes contemporary approaches to the application of content marketing in digital branding by systematizing the key stages of developing a brand content strategy. The proposed strategy, based on innovative methods and digital tools, contributes to strengthening and promoting a company's image among its target audience in the online environment. Content marketing is interpreted as a set of activities aimed at creating, distributing, and expanding valuable and relevant content that meets the interests and needs of consumers throughout every stage of their customer journey. It is established that content serves as a strategic resource of digital marketing and is integrated into all major communication and sales channels, including corporate websites, mobile websites and applications, digital advertising, social media platforms, email marketing, chatbots, and other digital communication tools. The primary function of content is to deliver information that is meaningful and beneficial to customers, whereas the main objective of content marketing is to attract potential consumers, establish effective communication with them, and develop sustainable long-term relationships. Achieving these objectives requires a well-defined content concept that outlines its central idea, identifies the types of content that provide value to the audience, and determines appropriate themes, formats, and storytelling approaches. The study demonstrates that content can be presented in text, visual, and audio formats. To ensure consistent and unobtrusive customer movement through the digital sales funnel, three main categories of content are distinguished: entertaining, expert, and promotional. The first two categories are primarily intended to attract the attention of the target audience, increase brand awareness, demonstrate the company's expertise, explain the advantages of its products or services, and illustrate their practical value, thereby encouraging consumers to make purchasing decisions. The promotional content further supports this process by facilitating conversion into loyal and repeat customers. The article substantiates the necessity of applying both systemic and strategic approaches to content marketing, considering it as a management process that is increasingly important under conditions of dynamic market development and intensified competition. A content strategy is therefore defined as an integrated program for planning, creating, distributing, and expanding valuable content that shapes positive customer impressions, attracts new audiences, provides an engaging consumer experience, and strengthens customer loyalty.
