Analisis Kepemimpinan dan Insentif dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Karyawan pada PT Ngunjuk Indonesia
Abstract
Employee performance is a key factor in achieving company goals. At PT Ngunjuk Indonesia, leadership issues were identified, particularly in communication, decision-making, motivation, and consistency in enforcing rules, as well as an incentive system that was deemed not fully proportional to the workload and quality of work. This study aims to analyze leadership and incentives in improving employee performance at PT Ngunjuk Indonesia. The research employs a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), observations, and documentation. Informants consist of supervisors as key informants, as well as employees in the positions of cashier, waiter, and barista. Data were analyzed through data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion-drawing, employing triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. Leadership demonstrates strengths in technical competence, operational support, and openness to ideas; however, weaknesses remain in the consistency of discipline, empathetic communication, and transparency in decision-making. Incentives can boost work speed and morale, but they are not yet fully proportional, transparent, or supportive of competency development. Improving performance requires strengthening leadership that is consistent, communicative, and transparent, as well as an incentive system that is fair, clear, and supportive of employee development.
