Abstract

The present study sought to shed light on the role played by Environmental Total Quality Management as an independent variable, with its dimensions (top management commitment, customer focus, and teamwork), in enhancing Organizational Excellence as a dependent variable with its dimensions (leadership, strategy, and human resources) at the Technical Administrative Institute – Nineveh / Northern Technical University. The research problem revolved around raising several questions, the most important of which was: What is the role of Environmental Total Quality Management in enhancing Organizational Excellence at the Technical Administrative Institute – Nineveh / Northern Technical University? To achieve the objectives of the study and answer its questions, the researcher adopted the descriptive-analytical approach to present and discuss the theoretical and conceptual frameworks, and then process, analyze, and interpret the data. This approach is suitable for studying behavioral and social phenomena. A questionnaire was designed as the main tool for collecting primary data from the study population in order to measure the study variables and their dimensions. The questionnaire included (30) items covering all dimensions. The Technical Administrative Institute – Nineveh was the field of the study,. Data were analyzed and processed using several statistical methods to identify the opinions of the respondents regarding the questionnaire items. The results were extracted using statistical software (SPSS V24), based on describing and diagnosing the study variables and their dimensions, as well as testing the relationships of correlation and impact between the variables and their dimensions. According to the hypothetical study model, the study reached several conclusions, the most important of which is the existence of statistically significant correlation and impact relationships between Environmental Total Quality Management and Organizational Excellence. In light of these findings, the study concluded with several recommendations relevant to the field of study.
