Abstract
As an integrated educational model that combines inquiry-based learning with travel experiences, study travel plays a significant role in fostering students’ social responsibility, innovative spirit, and practical abilities, and has attracted growing attention worldwide. Following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, this study conducts a systematic review of the literature published between 1950 and 2025. It identifies six major themes corresponding to the three stages of study travel. Through bibliometric analysis, the research delineates publication trends, core journal distributions, and keyword co-occurrence networks in the field. The findings indicate that experiential learning, constructivism, and transformative learning theory constitute the dominant theoretical foundations in current scholarship. Moreover, a notable “learning–travel imbalance” is observed, whereby educational processes and learning outcomes receive substantially more scholarly attention than travel attributes, industry logic, and managerial dimensions. This paper offers a systematic mapping of the knowledge terrain and theoretical architecture in international study travel research, clarifies existing gaps, and suggests directions for future interdisciplinary integration and for deeper synthesis of “learning” and “travel” in both research and practice.
The concept of local wisdom has become a significant strategic basis for culturally based education in Indonesia, though the structure of intellectual form and the developmental course of research in this area have yet to be fully synthesized. The paper explores the development and intellectual architecture of local wisdom research in Indonesian education between 2010 and 2025 through an inter-woven bibliometric and systematic approach. Based on PRISMA procedures, 132 studies were selected from 575 records of Scopus-indexed journal articles. The growth of publications, most popular journals, institutional productivity, and international contributions were analyzed using bibliometric mapping, and qualitative thematic synthesis identified the prevalent research clusters and theoretical orientations. According to the findings, a significant growth trend can be observed in recent years, and scholarship is concentrated mostly in Indonesian institutions, with a predominance of the sociocultural and constructivist approaches. Five important thematic areas were identified, reflecting an inclination toward pedagogical application. The paper finds that although the field is growing very fast, it is nationally confined and theoretically fragmented. This study provides intellectual scaffolding and strategic pathways for more rigorous and globally active scholarship by mapping the intellectual architecture of the field.

Purpose – Mathematical representation is a core component of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), enabling learners to construct mathematical meaning through multiple representations. Despite the growing body of research, existing reviews largely emphasize instructional effectiveness or bibliometric trends without explaining the field's intellectual evolution. This study mapped the evolution of mathematical representation research within RME by examining its research landscape, knowledge diffusion, intellectual structure, thematic development, and future directions.
Methodology – An integrated Systematic Literature Review and bibliometric analysis was conducted following the PRISMA protocol. Thirty-eight English-language journal articles indexed in Scopus were analysed using VOSviewer through publication trend analysis, collaboration networks, keyword co-occurrence, overlay and density visualisations, and bibliographic coupling.
Findings – Research has progressed through four developmental phases: Foundation, Expansion, Diversification, and Integration. The findings reveal global knowledge diffusion from the Netherlands as the theoretical origin to Indonesia as the principal site of contextual adaptation, with Malaysia serving as a key regional collaborator. Four interconnected intellectual domains emerged: instructional design, mathematical representation, assessment, and educational technology. Emerging research frontiers include longitudinal representational development, adaptive assessment, artificial intelligence, teacher professional learning, and cross-cultural implementation.
Novelty – This study proposes a theory-oriented bibliometric synthesis that integrates research trends, knowledge diffusion, intellectual structures, thematic evolution, and research frontiers into a unified conceptual framework.
Significance – The findings provide an evidence-based foundation for theory development, research prioritisation, and instructional innovation, advancing mathematical representation as a central construct in contemporary mathematics education.

This bibliometric analysis provides comprehensive insights into the development and trends of research on entrepreneurship in higher education from 2004 to 2023. By examining 882 documents sourced from 415 different journals, books, and other publications, the study reveals significant growth in academic interest, with an average annual growth rate of 23.48%. The analysis highlights key contributors, with Maritz A leading in research output, followed by Ahmed U, Fischer BB, Guerrero M, and others. The collaborative nature of this research field is evident, with an average of 2.84 authors per document and 19.5% of publications involving international collaboration. The study also identifies diverse research themes through keyword cluster analysis, emphasizing foundational aspects like entrepreneurial culture and education, as well as emerging areas such as sustainable entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship. Network visualizations further illustrate the interconnectedness and influence of prominent authors within the research community. This analysis underscores the dynamic and evolving nature of entrepreneurship research in higher education, providing valuable insights for researchers, educators, and policymakers aiming to foster a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem within academic institutions.
The rapid development of social media and the creator economy has positioned influencer marketing as an increasingly important phenomenon in contemporary digital society. However, the rapid expansion of research in this field has resulted in a fragmented body of knowledge, making it necessary to identify its intellectual structure and emerging research frontiers. This study aims to map the intellectual structure, thematic relationships, and temporal development of research on influencer marketing. A bibliometric analysis and science mapping approach was employed using publications indexed in Scopus from 2000 to 2026, with VOSviewer used to analyze keyword co-occurrence, thematic clusters, density, and temporal trends. The findings indicate that influencer marketing, social media, influencers, purchase intention, engagement, consumption behavior, and commerce constitute the central themes shaping the intellectual structure of the field. The analysis further reveals a thematic shift from conventional consumer-oriented research toward emerging issues involving virtual influencers, artificial intelligence, generative AI, creator economy, social commerce, green marketing, sustainable consumption, transparency, privacy, and kidfluencers. The temporal mapping suggests that influencer marketing is increasingly evolving from a promotional strategy into a broader digitally mediated social influence phenomenon involving interactions among influencers, consumers, brands, platforms, algorithms, and emerging technologies. From a social sciences perspective, these findings highlight the need to examine influencer marketing through broader theoretical lenses, including social influence, parasocial relationships, digital identity, platform society, digital labor, human–AI interaction, social norms, and digital governance. This study contributes by providing a comprehensive map of the evolution of influencer marketing and identifying future research directions at the intersection of marketing, technology, and digital social transformation.

This study examines research trends and emerging themes in Education 5.0 through a bibliometric and thematic document analysis. The data were collected from the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection database using a structured search strategy within the SSCI and ESCI indexes. The search was limited to English-language articles published between 2016 and March 2026. Following the screening process, 57 articles directly related to the educational context were included in the analysis. Bibliometric analyses were conducted using VOSviewer to examine keyword clusters, country collaboration, temporal publication trends, research areas, and cited publications. In addition, the abstracts of the selected studies were analyzed to identify the most frequently occurring abstract terms and the emerging themes reflected in the abstracts. The findings suggest that Education 5.0 is a relatively new and emerging field that has shown a visible increase in publication activity after 2023. The literature reflects a multidisciplinary structure situated at the intersection of education, computer science, engineering, and sustainability-related perspectives, while international collaboration remains limited and fragmented. The thematic analysis revealed six major themes: transformation of education, technology integration, competency and skills development, implementation challenges, sustainability, and institutional transformation. Overall, the study provides a systematic overview of the intellectual structure and thematic directions of Education 5.0 research and offers implications for future research in the field.

Introduction: Social studies education for students with special needs has become an increasingly important field of research as inclusive education advances. However, the temporal development of scientific production, prominent actors, and collaboration structures in this field have not been investigated comprehensively. This study aims to reveal the structural and trend-related characteristics of the field by analyzing the bibliometric properties of research published in this domain.Method: This study was a review based on bibliometric analysis. Publications indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection and published between 2000 and 2024 were included in the analysis. The literature search was conducted on March 19, 2025. Bibliometric analyses were carried out using the Bibliometrix package and VOSviewer software. Publication and citation trends, as well as country, institution, and author productivity and collaboration networks, were examined.Findings: The findings indicate a significant increase in publications over the past decade and reveal that scientific output is concentrated within a relatively small set of countries, institutions, and authors. Collaboration networks among authors and countries display a structure organized around central cores.Discussion: The results suggest that knowledge production in the field has not yet reached a fully integrated structure. Increasing international and interdisciplinary collaboration, encouraging research conducted across diverse educational contexts, and diversifying studies focused on inclusive social studies education are identified as key strategies to enhance the field’s scientific visibility and impact.
