Abstract

Learning about the noble characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is still predominantly conducted using conventional teacher-centered methods, resulting in low student engagement and limited opportunities for students to actively internalize character values. This study aims to develop the web application "Bintang Akhlak" as a learning medium for introducing the noble characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad to fourth-grade elementary school students and to evaluate its feasibility and users' responses. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects were fourth-grade elementary school students. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation using content expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques in the form of percentages. The results indicated that the "Bintang Akhlak" application was categorized as highly feasible based on expert validation, demonstrating appropriate learning content, instructional design, functionality, interface quality, and usability. Student responses also indicated positive initial acceptance, with the application being perceived as easy to use, attractive, and engaging during the learning process. These findings suggest that "Bintang Akhlak" is a feasible web-based learning medium for Islamic Religious Education. However, this study evaluated only the application's feasibility and initial user acceptance; therefore, further research is needed to examine its effectiveness in improving learning outcomes and character development through experimental studies involving larger samples.
