Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of workload and work environment on the performance of Outsourcing employees at the Taman Ismail Marzuki Area Management. The increasing use of Outsourcing employees in operational activities requires organizations to understand the factors that influence employee performance in order to improve organizational effectiveness. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 Outsourcing employees selected from a population of 130 employees using the Slovin formula. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 27, including validity, reliability, classical assumption, multiple linear regression, partial (t), simultaneous (F), and coefficient of determination (R²) tests. The findings reveal that workload has no significant effect on Outsourcing employee performance (t = -0.403; p = 0.688). Conversely, the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (t = 15.022; p < 0.001). Simultaneously, workload and work environment significantly affect employee performance (F = 113.819; p < 0.001), with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.701, indicating that 70.1% of employee performance is explained by both independent variables. These findings suggest that creating a supportive work environment is more influential in improving Outsourcing employee performance than focusing solely on workload management.
