Peran Literasi Keuangan dan Digitalisasi Keuangan pada Efisiensi Pengelolaan Keuangan UMKM di Kota Tasikmalaya
Abstract
The existence of MSMEs is not always accompanied by efficient financial management capabilities. Transaction recording, cost control, cash flow management, separation of personal and business finances, and capital utilization remain major challenges for MSME owners. At the same time, developments in financial technology provide opportunities for MSMEs to improve the speed, accuracy, and organization of their financial management practices. This study aims to analyze the effects of financial literacy and financial digitalization on the financial management efficiency of MSMEs in Tasikmalaya City, both partially and simultaneously. A quantitative approach with an explanatory research design was employed. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 150 MSME owners selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using a reliability test and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on MSME financial management efficiency. Financial digitalization also has a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, financial literacy and financial digitalization have a significant effect on financial management efficiency. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0,118 indicates that the two independent variables explain 11,8% of the variation in MSME financial management efficiency. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening financial literacy alongside the appropriate and sustainable utilization of financial technology among MSMEsa.
