Overall, this study shows that the use of AI chatbots can be an alternative medium for English conversation practice and provide an interactive learning or teaching experience for students and teacher.
The research findings regarding student perceptions indicate that GenAI-based listening materials enhance student engagement and motivation because they are more relevant to their daily lives and find it easier to understand the material, remember vocabulary, and felt more confident in their learning.
