Abstract

We prove a sharp isoperimetric inequality for the harmonic mean of the first $n$ nonzero Neumann eigenvalues of the Witten-Laplacian on origin-symmetric Lipschitz domains in space forms, endowed with radial log-concave measures. The main novelty is that we establish the sharp harmonic mean inequality under general radial log-concave measures, without assuming the weight function to be non-increasing. This extends previous results that were restricted to specific or more restrictive weighted settings. The proof relies on a refined analysis of the first eigenfunction on geodesic balls, a monotonicity property derived from a convexity condition on the radial weight, and a matrix trace inequality.

Extremizers for a trilinear Stein-Weiss inequality with nonnegative weights

We study extremizers for a trilinear Stein-Weiss inequality on $\mathbb{R}^n$. Within the known boundedness region, we prove attainment under two additional assumptions: all six weight exponents are nonnegative, and at least one pair of Lebesgue exponents is admissible. The proof combines symmetric decreasing rearrangement with a logarithmic radial reduction to a translation-invariant bilinear operator on $\mathbb{R}$ whose kernel belongs to $L^1\left(\mathbb{R}^2\right)$. A common-scale compactness argument rules out relative separation of the two arguments and yields norm attainment. We then derive the Euler-Lagrange system. In the fully symmetric case, every normalized nonnegative extremizing triple is diagonal. Finally, we establish the origin-centered Kelvin invariance of the resulting scalar equation at the scaling exponent and record the unweighted conformal example.

Faber Krahn inequality of Robin eigenvalue of the Weighted Laplacian

In this paper, we study the isoperimetric inequalities for the Robin eigenvalues of the weighted Laplacian with positive Robin parameter in the Euclidean space $\R^n$ and the hyperbolic space $\mathbb{H}^n$, respectively. More precisely, we prove that among all bounded Lipschitz domains with fixed weighted volume, the geodesic ball centered at the origin minimizes the first Robin eigenvalue of the weighted Laplacian, provided that the Robin parameter and the radial log-convex density satisfy suitable conditions. Furthermore, we show that the second Robin eigenvalue is bounded below by the first Robin eigenvalue of the geodesic ball centered at the origin with half the weighted volume. Our results extend classical Faber-Krahn inequalities to the setting of weighted spaces with log-convex densities. We also derive a lower bound for the second Robin eigenvalue in terms of the first eigenvalue of the centered ball with half the weighted volume.

Strict Convexity and Sharp Power Concavity for a Graphical $\sigma_2$-Curvature Equation

We prove strict convexity of the square-root transformation $v=-\sqrt{-u}$ for admissible solutions of a graphical $\sigma_2$-curvature Dirichlet problem on smooth uniformly convex domains. A key ingredient is a constant-rank theorem for $D^2v$, proved by a direct Ma-Xu type argument in dimension three and by the Bian-Guan microscopic convexity principle together with inverse-convexity methods in arbitrary dimensions. Combined with boundary strict convexity and a domain-deformation argument, the constant-rank theorem yields $D^2v>0$ throughout the domain.

Spectral and Geometric Stability for the Reciprocal Sum of Neumann Eigenvalues

We establish quantitative stability for the reciprocal-sum isoperimetric inequality for the first $d$ nonzero Neumann eigenvalues, recently proved by He, Li, and Tang. We prove that for bounded Lipschitz domains in $\mathbb{R}^d$, the reciprocal-sum deficit controls quadratically both the normalized eigenvalue displacements and the Fraenkel asymmetry, while controlling the displacement of the eigenvalue sum linearly. A further result shows that the classical Szeg\H{o}--Weinberger deficit controls both the gap between the first two nonzero eigenvalues and the full width of the first eigenvalue cluster. Nearly spherical perturbations demonstrate that all the stability exponents are optimal. In dimension two, the same matrix method yields improved constraints on the joint spectral image of the first two nonzero eigenvalues.

Quantitative stability in distribution for the Sobolev inequality under curvature dimension condition

The goal of this note is to investigate quantitative stability properties of the critical Sobolev inequality in ${\sf CD}(N-1,N)$ metric measure spaces. Assuming that the optimal constant for the inequality is almost the same as the one of the round sphere, we show that the cumulative distribution of any almost extremal function is close, in Wasserstein distance, to the one of an Aubin-Talenti bubble on the round sphere. We obtain similar results for the log Sobolev inequality and the spectral gap under various curvature and dimension assumptions. In all cases we obtain a quantitative stability with sharp exponent.

Convex sets with vanishing relative width and the reverse Cheeger inequality

We study the reverse Cheeger inequality, which bounds from above the ratio of the first Dirichlet Laplacian eigenvalue to the square of the Cheeger constant. We first extend this inequality from convex sets to a broader class. We then analyze maximizing sequences among convex bodies. To quantify domain collapse, we introduce the notion of principal widths. For three-dimensional convex bodies, we prove that if the ratio of the first principal width to the second principal width vanishes along a sequence of convex bodies, then such sequence is maximizing. Finally, in arbitrary dimensions, we prove that the same property holds for the class of rhomboid-like sets.
