Abstract
This article examines Ludwig Wittgenstein’s ideas in terms of their influence on developments in artificial intelligence. It demonstrates that the shift from the ontology of things to the logical ontology of facts, along with logicism and its attempts to approach language as a picture of the world and formalize thought through logical operations and propositions, laid the foundations for the creation of artificial intelligence. Wittgenstein’s reconsideration of his earlier position is explored, along with the development of a new approach that has influenced the transition to flexible models in AI that work with fuzzy contextual data. Using Wittgenstein’s ideas, it is possible to strive to create artificial intelligence capable of collaborating with humans in a more meaningful way. This problem has not yet received adequate attention in the scientific literature.
