The web-based information system successfully replaces manual record-keeping at TPA Al-Jami' and bridges the information gap between teachers and parents in supporting children's Quranic education.

Abstract

Administrative management at the Al-Jami' Quran Education Center (TPA) is currently conducted manually using physical logbooks, making records vulnerable to damage or loss and limiting parents' direct access to their children's learning progress. This research involved designing and developing a web-based information system using a software framework. The system's advantage over previous studies lies in its comprehensive, integrated features—including digitized attendance tracking, recitation progress, memorization (*tahfidz*) tracking, and daily prayers—designed for three user roles: Admin, Teacher, and Parent. The system was built using a framework and a MySQL database, with its architecture modeled via Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams. Development followed the Waterfall method, wherein system requirements were iteratively refined based on feedback from TPA Al-Jami' stakeholders during each evaluation cycle. Functional testing using the Black Box method across 10 test cases yielded a 100% validity rate for all CRUD modules and report-generation features; the testing focused specifically on functional aspects rather than usability. The parent dashboard provides real-time access to student attendance and achievement data, including a feature to download digital report cards in PDF format. The system successfully replaces manual record-keeping at TPA Al-Jami' and bridges the information gap between teachers and parents in supporting children's Quranic education.

Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Magang Berbasis Web di Dinas Komunikasi, Informatika, Statistik dan Persandian Kabupaten Tuban

Diskominfo SP Tuban requires an effective digital system to manage internship administration, participant monitoring, and digital learning processes. The previous web-based internship management system, developed using the Laravel framework with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Hybrid Authentication, had several limitations: a uniform dashboard for all user roles, poor mobile responsiveness, a virtual user mechanism that prevented permanent account records, redundant database structures, the absence of an integrated e-learning feature, and profile photo synchronization issues. This study aims to develop and improve the system by: (1) redesigning the authentication flow from virtual users to permanent accounts, (2) developing role-specific dashboards for eight user types, (3) restructuring the database with seven new tables, (4) building an e-learning module supporting text, file, and YouTube video materials with a prerequisite mechanism, (5) improving responsive design for mobile devices, (6) resolving profile photo issues with gallery/camera/Google source options, and (7) adding an internship application module with supervisor search feature. Black-box testing on 15 test scenarios confirmed that all main system functions operate correctly without functional errors.

Sistem Informasi Pelaporan Kekerasan Perguruan Tinggi Berbasis Web dengan Mekanisme Keamanan Akses dan Tracking Status Mandiri

This study presents the development of a web-based PPKPT Reporting and Case Management Information System using the Waterfall method at Harkat Negeri University. Violence in higher education settings is a serious issue, yet current reporting mechanisms rely solely on WhatsApp messages, failing to guarantee reporter identity confidentiality, structured case management, or independent case status tracking. The system was developed using the Waterfall SDLC model, the Laravel framework, and a MySQL database, modeled with UML. It features online reporting with identity confidentiality enforced through AdminAuth middleware authentication, a status-tracking mechanism using a unique code (PPKPT-YYYY-XXXXX), an admin dashboard, report management, and PDF export. Black Box Testing on 22 test cases produced a 100% pass rate, confirming all features function as specified. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with 20 respondents consisting of 3 PPKPT Team members, 1 lecturer, 1 administrative staff, and 15 students yielded an overall mean score of 4.51 (Very Good category), with no aspect scoring below 2.60. The system successfully integrates three core components in a single platform: reporting with identity access control protection, structured case management for the PPKPT Team, and independent status tracking for reporters — components mandated by Permendikbudristek No. 55 of 2024 that had not previously been integrated into any single system designed for a higher-education PPKPT context.
