Abstract
The article deals with the linguistic conceptual field, which structure is determined with four approximated models of the human language: pragmatic, organic, semiotic and cognitive ones. The prolegomena conteins some initial data, namely: an explication of the concept of language, a short characteristic of the fundamental types of lingual explorations and concrete linguistic disciplines, as well established forms of linguistic inferences fixation.
Problems of internal organization of special lexicon are analyzed. As a result of quantitative characteristics, the term of terminological index of special lexicon is defined.
