Adaptive Human Resource Management Based on the Integration of Personnel Management, Team Management, and Employee Work Behavior
Abstract
The article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of adaptive personnel management in the context of transformations in the contemporary socio-economic environment. The purpose of the study is to substantiate an integrated approach to personnel management that combines human resource management, team management, and employee work behavior as interrelated components of a unified adaptive human resource management system. The methodological framework of the study is based on systemic, process, competency-based, and adaptive approaches, as well as methods of theoretical generalization, comparative analysis, synthesis, and structural-logical modelling. The study analyzes contemporary approaches of Ukrainian and foreign scholars to strategic human resource management, team interaction, organizational behavior, employee motivation, and human capital development. It is established that digital transformation, the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies, labor shortages, demographic changes, wartime challenges, and increasing uncertainty necessitate a transition from functionally separated HR management models to integrated adaptive approaches. The main result of the study is the development of the author's Integrated Model of Adaptive Personnel Management (IMAPM), based on the interaction of three interrelated subsystems: human resource management, team management, and employee work behavior management. The model is complemented by an adaptive mechanism incorporating HR analytics, digital technologies, feedback systems, continuous learning, and timely adjustment of management decisions. It is substantiated that the integration of these subsystems generates a synergistic effect manifested in increased labor productivity and employee engagement, improved team interaction, strengthened organizational resilience, and enhanced organizational capacity to adapt rapidly to changes in the external environment. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the development of an author's integrated model of adaptive personnel management that combines human resource management, team management, and employee work behavior management into a unified adaptive system, as well as in further developing the theoretical understanding of employee work behavior as an integrating element of contemporary HR management. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the possibility of applying the proposed model to improve personnel policy, develop team interaction, optimize HR processes, foster adaptive employee work behavior, and enhance human resource management in enterprises, local self-government bodies, and territorial communities.
