Abstract
The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP) has made it possible to develop intelligent conversational systems that can provide real-time assistance in various fields. The retail environment may pose a challenge to human resources (HR) assistance since the efficiency of the operations and the satisfaction of the employees are the primary concerns because it takes too long to respond and may not be available during the most active time hours. The present paper outlines the design and development of an AI-based conversational agent that has been developed to assist retail employees in real-time HR services. The proposed system employs NLP approaches to process user queries and provide the correct and contextual responses concerning attendance, shifts, payroll, company policies, and onboarding procedures. The chatbot is integrated with a centralised HR database and can be easily accessed through a simple user interface, making it user-friendly. By delivering prompt feedback that is both reliable and fast, the system helps to lessen the burden of HR professionals, ensures that the response is swift and effective, and makes the workplace more pleasant. The experimental analysis reveals that the conversational agent suggested is highly correct in answering common HR questions. This study demonstrates the potential of AI-based solutions in transforming traditional HR systems into efficient and automated support platforms.
This research introduces a hybrid artificial intelligence that incorporates chatbot intelligent assistants based that combines large language model (LLM) with rule-based filtering, allowing it to tailor its conversational responses according to user profiles, interaction histories, and relevant contextual information.
