Abstract
This study analyzed changes in the understanding of regular polygons among tenth-grade Basic General Education students through a didactic sequence mediated by GeoGebra. A quantitative study with a single-group pre-experimental design was conducted using a pretest, posttest, and checklist. The sample consisted of 48 students selected through non-probability convenience sampling. Results showed an increase in the mean score from 2.79 in the pretest to 5.63 in the posttest. The Wilcoxon test revealed statistically significant differences between both measurements (p < 0.001), while the normalized Hake gain was classified as medium (g = 0.308). Improvements were observed in the conceptual (26.74 percentage points), procedural (17.03), and application (28.00) dimensions. The findings show improvements after the intervention and suggest that the GeoGebra-mediated didactic sequence represents a relevant alternative for supporting the learning of regular polygons and strengthening geometry teaching in Basic General Education.
This study examined the effect of GeoGebra integration on Senior High School students’ achievement in geometric transformations using the SAMR model as a framework for technology integration. A concurrent mixed-methods design was employed involving 200 second-year students from two government-assisted senior high schoo...

Spatial ability is a crucial component of geometric thinking that supports students' understanding of geometric transformation topics. This study examined the effect of the GeoGebra-assisted Action-Process-Object-Schema (APOS) approach on ninth-grade students' spatial ability in geometric transformations. This study us...
Grade 11 students in Mahaica-Berbice, Guyana, consistently demonstrate unsatisfactory achievement in CSEC Mathematics measurement concepts, particularly in visualizing properties of geometric solids and calculating surface area and volume. The study aimed to determine the relationship between the use of the GeoGebra mobile application and the achievement of mathematical competencies among secondary school students in a rural area of Puno, Peru. The research employed a quantitative approach, was basic in nature, and utilized a non-experimental correlation...
The teaching of sequences in initial teacher education is often restricted to the Fibonacci sequence, frequently presented due to its historical origin or associated with classic figures in mathematics, which can generate conceptual gaps in teacher education. Thus, this empirical study proposes a didactic sequence on m...
