Abstract
Women's education is an important aspect of the development of Islamic education because it is closely related to access to knowledge, the enhancement of social capacity, and the formation of Muslim women's independence. This study is based on the limited research that connects Rahmah El-Yunusiyah's Islamic educational thought with contemporary Indonesian women's empowerment during the 2001-2025 period. This study aims to analyze Rahmah's concept of women's education, the implementation of her ideas through Madrasah Diniyah Puteri, and her contribution to women's empowerment in Indonesia. The research method employed is a historical-descriptive method with a library research approach through the analysis of primary and secondary sources. The findings indicate that Rahmah positioned women as educational subjects through the integration of religious knowledge, general knowledge, and practical skills. These ideas were realized through the Diniyah Puteri education system, which strengthened character, independence, and social participation. Rahmah's educational thought remains strategically significant for contemporary women's education by strengthening equal access, women's leadership, and empowerment.
