Abstract
THE EL-RAKHAWI CREED presents a groundbreaking Islamic-scientific exploration of the human genome as a divine sign (ayah) of Allah's infinite wisdom. Grounded in the absolute conviction that Allah alone is the Creator (Al-Khaliq) and Islam is His final religion, this work transcends conventional molecular biology to reveal the genome as both a sacred autobiography of humanity and a dynamic interface between genetic inheritance and environmental influence through epigenetics. The book introduces The EL-RAKHAWI Triad of Existence—The Code, The Context, and The Consciousness—affirming that human existence emerges at the intersection of the immutable genetic blueprint, the dynamic epigenetic dialogue, and the emergent awareness breathed into us by Allah as a divine gift. It rigorously dismantles genetic determinism, celebrates human genetic unity as a reflection of divine oneness (tawhid), and establishes comprehensive ethical principles for the genomic age. Through The EL-RAKHAWI Moral Continuum and The EL-RAKHAWI Ethical Decision Matrix, the book proposes groundbreaking frameworks grounding moral consideration in biological origin, relational context, and the sacred nature of human biological material. These frameworks address CRISPR gene editing, cerebral organoids, organoid intelligence, and artificial intelligence integration, while calling for genomic justice and the decolonization of genomic databases that currently overrepresent European populations. The work makes a critical theological distinction between consciousness (al-wa'y) as a biological function and the soul (al-ruh) as the divine breath (nafkhah ilahiyyah), resolving longstanding philosophical confusion. It engages honestly with materialist challenges through steel-manning arguments, grounds its bioethics in authoritative Islamic jurisprudential decisions, and culminates in ten core tenets and a declaration of Islamic faith. Culminating as a foundational document for Islamic bioethics in the twenty-first century, the book guides humanity's relationship with its genetic code, emphasizing wisdom, humility, ethical responsibility, and the recognition that we are khalifah (vicegerents) entrusted with protecting Allah's sacred creation. This is not merely science—it is worship through understanding, a testament that the more we decode the genome, the more we marvel at the wisdom of its Creator.
Some claim that especially in the field of agile software development the research lags years behind of the practice. In this paper, we characterize the status and main challenges for research on agile software development, and propose a preliminary roadmap, focusing on providing more empirical research, primarily on e...

Agile methods continue to gain popularity. In particular, the Scrum method appears to be on the verge of becoming a de-facto standard in the industry, leading the so called Agile movement. While there are success stories and recommendations, there is little scientifically valid evidence of the challenges in the adoptio...
