Humarticosynergy: A New Word for Cognitive Human–AI Synergy

Oct 2026 · Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research)

Abstract

This essay introduces humarticosynergy as a concise term for the previously developed concept of Cognitive Human–AI Synergy. The proposed word combines elements referring to the human, artificial intelligence, cognition, and synergy. The essay explains its formation, defines the concept it denotes, and outlines possible grammatical derivatives, including humarticosynergistic, to humarticosynergize, and humarticosynergistically. Humarticosynergy is defined as structured, iterative, and mutually reinforcing cognitive cooperation between a human and artificial intelligence in which two distinct cognitive systems contribute complementary capabilities to the creation of higher-quality knowledge while ultimate responsibility remains human. The essay also presents examples of use in strategic decision-making, scientific research, methodology, and education, and discusses the originality and possible value of the proposed term within the broader framework of Cognitive Human–AI Synergy.
