Abstract
Supporting data for a molecular dynamics study of how recessive progeroid LMNA Ig-fold substitutions disrupt the lamin A/C–BAF interface. The deposit contains the complete supplementary information of the manuscript (Figures S1–S4, Tables S1–S7), the six prepared coordinate files and the preparation scripts that regenerate them from the unmodified Protein Data Bank entry 6GHD with a single command, and the per-replica analysis results behind every figure and table. Six systems — wild type, Arg482Trp, Ala529Val, Arg527His, Lys542Asn and Ala529Thr — were each simulated in three independent 200 ns replicas with GROMACS 2023.2 under CHARMM36m, 3.6 μs in total. Residue numbering is prelamin A (UniProt P02545).
The comparison of adopter and non-adopter sample reveals three potential adoption inhibitor, security, data privacy, and portability, which underlines the importance of the technical and security perspectives for research investigating the adoption of technology.
