Abstract
A 41-year-old man with grade 1, well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumor (NET) of the terminal ileum underwent initial staging with 68Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT. PET/CT images demonstrated focal uptake at the terminal ileum corresponding to the patient's known NET. In addition, a large, low-attenuation lesion with heterogeneously increased activity was seen in the interpolar region of the right kidney. Further evaluation with contrast-enhanced MRI demonstrated a finding consistent with a large calyceal diverticulum. PET/CT images were revisited, and the activity in the mass was compared with the activity in the bladder, which was similar.
Intussusception of bowel in adults is relatively rare and most commonly secondary to gastrointestinal malignancies. We present the case of an 80-year-old man with rectosigmoid adenocarcinoma evaluated via 18F-FDG PET/CT. Imaging revealed rectosigmoid intussusception with a characteristic "target sign" on both PET and C...
We report a case of a 60-year-old man with biopsy-proven prostate adenocarcinoma who underwent 99mTc-PSMA scintigraphy during evaluation for potential 177Lu-PSMA radioligand therapy. The scan demonstrated diffuse skeletal radiotracer accumulation resembling a bone scan. A focal photopenic defect in the thoracic spine c...

A 37-year-old woman with persistent right-sided back pain. 99mTc-MDP SPECT/CT demonstrated a solitary focus of intense radiotracer uptake corresponding to the rib lesion. The patient declined percutaneous biopsy. The rib was excised because malignancy was still a concern. Histopathologic examination confirmed chondromy...
