Abstract
The article examines the potential of AI agents and reveals their key characteristics and technological foundations. The analysis of practical cases of implementation in Russian and foreign universities is carried out. Special attention is paid to ethical and legal challenges. Technological barriers and organizational aspects were discussed. In conclusion, the prospects for development are outlined.
