Abstract
This study focused on the use of educational games in mathematical literacy during the early years of Elementary Education, considering their contribution to the development of mathematical knowledge. The research sought to answer how these resources support learning at this stage of schooling. The objective was to analyze the scientific evidence regarding the contributions of educational games to the development of number sense and problem-solving skills. The theoretical framework was based on studies addressing mathematical literacy, play-based learning, teacher mediation, educational games, and technologies applied to teaching. An integrative literature review was conducted using national and international scientific databases, with studies selected and analyzed according to previously established criteria. The findings showed that educational games encourage student participation, make mathematical concepts easier to understand, stimulate logical reasoning, and strengthen learning when integrated into pedagogical planning. It is concluded that this strategy enhances Mathematics teaching by supporting more meaningful pedagogical practices and strengthening mathematical literacy.
This study aimed to evaluate educational intelligence games implemented by mathematics teachers. Using the phenomenological method, a qualitative research designs, the study involved semi-structured interviews with 12 mathematics teachers working in different schools. The interview data were examined using the content...
