Abstract
EL-RAKHAWI CONVERGENT DEEP TECHNOLOGIES: SUMMARY This doctrine integrates five convergent deep technology pillars: (1) Advanced Generative AI and High-Performance Computing, evolving from LLMs to multimodal foundation models supported by exascale AI Factories; (2) High-Fidelity Climate Modeling via the TRACCS framework, achieving kilometer-scale resolution for urban microclimates and agricultural precision; (3) Deep-Ocean Exploration mapping abyssal and hadal zones, discovering novel chemosynthetic ecosystems and bioprospecting for pharmaceutical applications; (4) Precision Psychiatry through the PROPSY framework, integrating multi-omic data (genomic, proteomic, metabolomic) with advanced mass spectrometry for molecular-level psychiatric diagnosis and metal-protein interaction studies; (5) Open Science Infrastructure integrating national systems into continental clouds (EOSC model) enforcing FAIR principles. The Convergent Deep Tech Index (CDTI) employs Weighted Geometric Mean with Operational Floor (x'=max(x,0.15)) to evaluate ecosystem maturity across AI, climate, ocean, precision medicine, and open science dimensions.
