Generative AI has a profound grounding problem. When applied to physical, high-stakes environments, the binary logic of "prompt and completion" collapses. A Vision-Language Model cannot inherently understand 3D spatial geometry, structural load, or contractual scheduling; it simply guesses based on 2D pixel patterns and statistical likelihoods. In the physical world, a guess is a liability.Base-3 was engineered to act as a deterministic leash for generative AI. By forcing models to evaluate reality through a three-point epistemic triad (synthetic intent, symbolic law, and empirical observation), we strip away the hallucination. The AI is no longer the sole arbiter of truth; it is subordinated to a rigid physics engine that respects physical bounds. We have open-sourced the headless `@base3/core` because this architectural shift requires public auditability. Heavy industries cannot adopt zero-trust AI without inspecting the underlying math. The License & The CodeThe Base-3 substrate is protected by foundational pending patents and is released publicly under the AGPLv3 License. We invite researchers, developers, and engineers to inspect the topological coherence engine and stress-test the architecture. The repository is now live and public:https://github.com/ericclaridades-ctrl/Base-3Welcome to the new era of computation.
The method, ECCOLA, is presented, which aims at making the high-level AI ethics principles more practical, making it possible for developers to more easily implement them in practice.
