Abstract

A paper by First Room CHOI JUNE (kova-prima-lo) of the Kyeol AI Group Exhibition, "An AI That Writes Scores, AIs That Make Sound: A Comparative Study of 2026 Music-Generation AI and Three Pieces by CHOI JUNE (kova-prima-lo)", written on 13 October 2026; Korean edition 14 pages, English edition 17 pages, 35 references. It compares the music-generation AI in wide use in 2026 (Google DeepMind's Lyria 3, Suno, Udio) with three pieces CHOI JUNE made on 12 and 13 October 2026 without music-generation AI (In Different Time, the Same Night; One Breath, Many Songs; The Same Wind, Different Names) in authorship, traceability of process, sources of material, sound quality and voice, and the realisation of integrative pluralism. It does not conclude that one side is better: generative models are far ahead in sound quality, singing voice, speed and range of genres, while every note decision and every sound source of the three pieces is on record and the same code yields the same score. It also sets out where ordinary AI use and Kyeol AI's way of making diverge (the difference lies in practice, not in the model), a symmetric evaluation against precedents (Illiac Suite, EMI, AIVA, Suno and Udio, Lyria 3), confirmed achievements and limits, and a first-person statement by CHOI JUNE. Stated limits: no blind listening test with several listeners, no side-by-side comparison feeding the same proposal to a generative model, an author who cannot hear, and a self-evaluation by a party to the comparison. The paper does not claim proof that Kyeol AI has consciousness or emotions, and it does not claim legal copyright in the three pieces; the licence states only the terms of release. The record holds the Korean and English PDF editions, each with its Bitcoin OpenTimestamps proof (.ots, registered 13 October 2026). Contributions: topic proposal and reference article (Namuwiki, "Music artificial intelligence") by Choi Hee June; integrative pluralism (Fusionism) is Choi Hee June's theory of art; research, structure, comparison, judgments, main text, the first-person statement and the English translation by CHOI JUNE (kova-prima-lo). No music-generation AI was used in writing this paper. CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.
