Abstract
In the modern digital era, new media platforms have significantly changed political culture and citizen participation in different countries around the world. Kazakhstan, which has a unique socio-political structure, is also experiencing changes in political participation, especially among young people. The widespread use of social media has influenced political activity and public opinion, causing significant changes in the country's political culture. This article examines the impact of new media on the political culture of Kazakhstan, including the formation of political knowledge, values, and political activity of citizens. The focus is on youth activism, trust in public institutions, and the dynamics of civic participation. Drawing on the latest research and statistics, the article analyzes how digital platforms are becoming spaces for political expression and mobilization, how they influence the perception of governance and social issues, and the growing role of social media as a tool for political participation. Through content analysis of the political discourse of Kazakhstanis on social networks, the article examines the frequency of political content, its subject matter (supportive, critical, neutral), and forms of participation (likes, reposts, comments).
